ISC employs EFL teachers and activity leaders throughout the six weeks of our residential summer school at Bloxham School, Oxfordshire.
Teachers
Teachers must hold a degree and CELTA/Trinity/DELTA certificate or PGCE in MFL/Primary/English and have at least a year's teaching experience.
Our director of studies and senior teacher manage the teaching programme.
Along with teaching responsibilities, our teachers are involved in the activity and excursion programmes and have residential duties.
Candidates should be enthusiastic, flexible and have good communication skills.
Our teachers attend and participate in training sessions held each course.
Activity Leaders
Our activity leaders are involved in the activity and excursions programmes and also carry out residential duties.
While no specific qualifications are required for the role of activity monitor, candidates should be responsible, energetic and be able to engage with and involve our students in activities and trips.
Good communication skills are necessary as activity monitors deal with international students, group leaders, colleagues and Bloxham School staff.
Demonstrable skills in drama, sports, dance or arts and crafts are an advantage.
An activity director and assistant activity director manage the activity programme and excursions.
