Our Story

Improve your English, make friends for life and have a great time at International Student Club, our summer school for students aged 9-17 years.

International Student Club began in 1997 with the aim of having the best possible summer school in the best possible location. We work hard to deliver high-quality courses and with the help of our dedicated, passionate team, we aim to provide you with a truly unforgettable, educational experience.

We had a brilliant summer, welcoming over 560 students from 20 different countries. It made for a buzzing atmosphere on campus and lots of new international friendships. There were plenty of opportunities for students to practise their speaking and learn about other cultures. We hope to build on this success in 2027. 

We are delighted to have received amazing feedback on our 2026 courses from our team, leaders and students, with 97% of our learners rating their experience at ISC as good/excellent! 

We finished our summer courses on a real high, with our strongest ever August student numbers and our highest scores for English lessons - 97.27% and activities - 97.18%. We are very proud to receive such fantastic scores from our students! 

We had lots of lovely compliments about our “interesting, fun lessons” that gave students a “boost in confidence”, our “amazing activities and trips” and our “super-friendly, positive and kind staff…who make you feel like you’re at home”. One of our students commented that their ISC experience “was perfect, the most memorable thing I have done in my life” and another noted that their favourite thing was "the ISC community and kindness of everyone."

We really enjoyed getting to know our students and leaders and hope to see them again. Our Romanian leader commented on "how caring ISC is with the kids and by how well organised the entire camp is” and our Czech leader said “I have visited a lot of summer camps in England and I think ISC is by far the best school. The kids love the interactive classes and don’t want to go home. Everything is amazing, I definitely want to come back.”

​In our last British Council inspection (2022), we were proud to be awarded 8 areas of strength for teaching, course design, learning resources, leisure opportunities, staff management, premises and facilities, accommodation and care of students.

Historic Bloxham School is located near the picture-perfect Cotswolds and is only 1 hour from Oxford and 1.5 hours from London! ISC is "an excellent summer school in an amazing location" and we hope to welcome you this summer!
